When we think about Norse mythology, we tend to imagine the stories of pagan gods and myths that were told through generations. But what we usually don’t take into consideration are the men and women that endured those times. Key values like fatherhood, motherhood, and brotherhood were a necessity in order to survive the harsh realities of the north.

Each one no less important than the other, and each with their own set of responsibilities and honour codes. Ancestors passing down their knowledge and wisdom by blood, sweat, and tears. And that is what I wanted to convey in these artworks. That no matter where you are and how hard it is, having a brother, father and/or mother is sacred.
